'A place where lovers dwell...' was inspired by the heartbreak a lover can bring —the nest we shared during our time as lovers that we ultimately retreat to in our grief and where we also rest and heal. This piece takes its cues from overwintering PNW hummingbird nests and the lovely shelf fungus that clings to tree trunks throughout our forests. Borax crystals flow as sweet, delicate tears.
